I can't believe it has only been a week since Livee's accident. It has felt like a month. I am actually starting to feel like a human being again. I know it is all I have talked about this week but it has truly consumed our lives. She is really doing so much better. I am really amazed. Last Sunday night I wasn't sure what our summer was going to be like, but we are going to be just fine.
We went to church today. Livee just came to nursery with me. She might have a hard time going back to her class. Nursery was lots of fun. Kaydee and her family came and went to church with us and stayed for dinner. Our kids love hanging out with each other. We talked of playing a game of baseball but I am not sure that ever really got put together. I think the big kids went out and did some hitting but Livee wanted to swing Kaydee and I hung out in the back yard. It was a nice night.
Only got one session of therapy in on her foot. She did some swinging and that really works her foot. Livee fell asleep about 7:30. We will see if actually sleeps all night. I forget that even tho she isn't sick, her little body is still exhausted from trying to heal and that she has been through a lot so it is probably a good thing she fell to sleep.
Savanna and Hallie have been busy packing for girls camp tonight. They leave Tuesday and come back Friday. Savanna hadn't planned on going because of a Volleyball camp that was Wed thru Friday but the coach let me switch her to the one in July. I just was feeling a bit overwhelmed with getting Livee to Salt Lake on Friday and Savanna to Jerome on the same day. She wasn't very happy with me and told me this morning "I am NOT going to girls camp". I replied with a "fine, don't go". She brought me papers to sign for girls camp at church, =) She is a good girl. She just had to let me know she was not happy with my choice. It wasn't an easy choice but I know it is for the better.
