Surprise cheerleader....

Savanna got a phone call from a friend begging her to be a cheerleader this year. Surprisingly she said yes. She was a bit nervous about the whole thing because she hasn't ever really done dance and most of the girls here are involved in dance. She has had a few practices. After her first practice she came home saying she didn't like it. I asked her if she was going to back out of it or what and she is going to do it. I am very proud of her for trying something new. I am wondering if it is just the newness of the whole cheer idea and the unfamiliarness that she doesn't like because she practices and tried on her costume for the kids- no, she didn't invite me to that fashion show. She probably knew I would try to take her picture or something, and so I hope as the year goes by she will start to enjoy herself while she does it. Now is the time to try these new things. I will have pictures soon. I will have to sneak them, she hides everytime the camera comes out.
