Today I got to join Livee's class in caroling and a hay ride. Every year the elementary does a Christmas service project. This year they collected food. Livee's hayride took us to Mr Roundy's home. He lost his wife last year. When he opened the door and all those sweet voices were singing Rudolph, I was so overcome with emotion. It really just made me feel so warm and thankful for everything I have. It is easy this time of year to wish I could buy more for my kids but it really brought me a sense of peace that I could buy what I did and that I get to be with my family.
Anyways, it was a great ride. Livee really just belted out her songs. After a few stops of singing, we headed back to the school for hot chocolate and cookies. Jase's class was in the cafeteria so I snapped a shot of him and his friends. Aleena had already gone to recess.
