We started our Christmas Celebration on Christmas Eve. KellyRae and her kids came over in the afternoon. They worked on some Ginger Bread Houses. We had 3 houses so we divided them up into teams. Hallie and Lex, Macey and Aleena, Jase and Livee. Savanna didn't decorate one. She had done a big mansion Ginger Bread house at Talon's family party so she opted out.
They all had fun getting creative.
We then just had lots of little finger foods that we don't have very often, Lil Smokies, 7 layer bean dip, green Grinch Punch, cheese and crackers. We later opened our Christmas Eve pajamas. I did not have to alter one of my kids pajamas. Yahoo.
Kell had brought her kids pajamas to open too. Then they got a little silly in the picture posing.
Kell headed out after the crazy pajama party. It had started to snow and she didn't want to have to drive home in the yucky weather. We then watched The Elf together. The littles fell asleep during the movie. Everyone ended up going to bed after that. All my wrapping was done (I took my stuff to Kaydee's the week before and we had a wrapping party) so finishing up our last minute stuff didn't take too long. I do not put any presents under the tree until Christmas Eve. It keeps the kids out of them and it makes Christmas morning that much better. Santa found our house and had everything all in place for the following morning.
