Saturday morning Jase had a basketball game in Oakley. He loves basketball. He is really improving. It is fun to watch them grow in things they love. Savanna and Hallie had a volleyball open gym after the game. It was mostly Jr hi girls but Savanna went anyways. They were both pretty sore. It has been a while since they touched a ball.
After that, Hallie, Aleena and I headed to Twin Falls. We grabbed Kell and Macey on our way. There was a dance thing. It is some sort of fund raiser performance. Aleena danced in the 2 pm show and Hallie danced in the 7 pm show. We managed to squeeze a quick trip to Costco in between but that was all the time we had between with hair and makeup. I took tickets at the night show. They wanted people not coming in and out during performances so I was to guard the door and let people in and out between songs. I grew up with this concert etiquette but I soon realized that not everyone has this same respect. I couldn't believe some people and their ability to be rude. Anyways. The girls danced great. Livee was upset she couldn't come but it is a lot of sitting and waiting for dancers. She would have been bored out of her gourd. We got home late saturday night. Luckily the weather held off til we got home because we woke up Sunday morning to 3 inches of snow.

Hallie had a Dr. appointment on Wednesday in Boise. Her brace hasn't been fitting right and Dr Tom told us back in November to keep an eye on it because it is getting border line too small. I took some pictures and sent them to him a couple weeks of the concerned parts and he wanted us to come in. We headed to Boise on Tuesday evening. I knew the roads were clear and was afraid to wake up Wednesday morning to snow or ice. We got there in time to visit with Linden and Michelle for a few minutes before bed but not much. Livee was worried Kaicey would be in bed by the time we got there. They are such good buds. The appointment went good. Yes, she needs a new brace. She is getting too tall. It fits on her upper body but isn't fitting on her pelvis the right way. It is actually shifting her pelvis funny. Plus she is hitting her growth time and he really wants it to fit just perfect during that time. Pros- it will fit right and not irritate her in her hips, it will keep her curve under control, she gets to pick a colorful brace. Cons- It is going to be a longer brace and she has had some freedom in her movement in too small of one so it might be a tough adjustment. She has been pretty tough through this whole thing. He did a lot of measuring and will get the shell made and then we come back when the shell is ready and they do a 3 hour appointment and get pads and Velcro and everything put in just perfectly to her body.
We didn't have time to do anything fun while we were there. Hallie brought along her friend Kalli and they wanted to be back in time for their youth activity at the church. It involved the boys;) and they wanted to be there. They were good travelers. Thanks Brad and Grampa for keeping the fort together.
