Better

The kids seem to be doing better. Savanna was invited to a girl get together with a group of friends. M was having her friends over with dinner, movie and sleepover. I wasn't sure if she would actually go but she did. She decided she would go for a couple hours. I picked her up around 9. She said the girls were nice and that they were fun. She learned that instead of ding-dong-ditching or other mischievous acts they go and paint the rock at the school. That made me chuckle. Fun memories with that rock. I wonder if it is the same one from my school days? Anyways, my heart is very thankful for all the kids that have been very warm and friendly to my kids. Jase came home saying that all the girls in 3rd grade have a crush on him. Yikes. He cracks me up. So far, so good.

sunshine and feel good

Yeah, all my kids are back at school. They have been home sick for the last couple days. They didn't really want to go back. They were liking the idea of being home in our comfort zone where we know everyone. So we will see how there report is after school. I have been doing a bit of yard work. It has been so nice to go out and enjoy the outdoors. We pulled the scooters and bikes out. I have just been cleaning out dead stuff and underneath all that are little buds and signs of spring. Today dad drained the hot tub and put new water in. It was looking a bit " shrek-ish". Savanna and I got in it last night. Luckily it was dark and so we were focused more on the beautiful view of the stars and not the green water. It was nice to just chat with her. Oh, and the stars here are amazing. Lucy is doing better. Her leg is healing. Can't remember if I mentioned it, but she got squished under some wood. We thought maybe she broke it, but vet said not.
Well, it is quiet here for a minute so I am going to rest my eyes. Happy April Fools Day.
