Crinkles

Livee has discovered the sound that paper and plastic can make. It is a little hard to tell, but she crinkles up her little eyes and just goes to town swinging her arms. This bag entertained her for quite some time. (First I made sure that she couldn't choke on any parts.)

TuTu Fun

My sister has been learning some photography stuff, and she just got a new camera, so we decided to have a little photo session. I had made Aleena some tutus for her birthday last year and so we tried it on Livee, she thought it was great fun to have it on. This is one of the pictures that turned out so cute. I couldn't wait to get the others to post. I had to show everyone how cute they turned out.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun, yet crazy weekend. We had a "Re-shingling Party" at my Dad's house. The boys did the work on the roof and the girls had the ccc duties- cook, clean & kids. Linden's family, Kell's family, Amy's family, and KD's family was there. They got most of it done. Brad was pretty sore, his forearm is still hurting and swollen, he thinks he maybe sprained it, hopefully not broke it. He was shoveling off the old shingles and some how jammed his arm up.
The kids looked so tiny next to this big loader.
The kids are always begging to get in the hot tub. It definitely gets used when we are all there.
Grampa is very proud of his garden this year. He should be, it looked great. Lots of yummies growing. I picked some green beans while there. The kids helped. Some lasted longer than others. I wished I lived closer so I could really enjoy the fruits of his labors. I got to bring home some fresh yummy tomatoes, zucchini & green beans.
My sister had her bow making stuff there so we made a couple. I'm teaching a class at Super Saturday so I was practicing a few different ideas. They are so fun. I want to make some in every color.
Grama has a baby kitten that is inside and that was always a battle. The poor thing was exhausted. Aleena thought she needed to hold him the whole time.
Aunt KD was filling Grama & Aunt Kell's nails, and put one nail on the girls. They thought that was so cool. My girls can't wait until they can have all ten nails done. I told them they had to have a job to pay for them first.

It was such a fun weekend. I don't know how we crammed everything in. No wonder we were all tired and edgy by Monday afternoon.

I Can See

I finally cut Aleena's bangs. I kept trying to convince her we should grow them out, but she does not love the hair combing thing, especially "ponies". I was trying to keep her hair out of her forehead wound, but it has scabbed up enough that I think it will be fine. So now she can see on the days we don't get her hair done.

They look a little crucad in the picture, but I can't tell when her hair is dry.
