Live Nativity

At the last minute I decided to go and see the live Nativity in Eagle tonight. Hallie and Savanna weren't home, but I drug Brad and the other kids out. The LDS church out there volunteers this every year. You park and then go on a hay ride to the city gates. When you are done walking the city, the hay ride takes you back to your car. There is a live camel, donkey, sheep, singing angels, fires, a stable with Mary and Joseph, and some shepherds that guide you through the city. It was really cool. I could really feel the spirit when we saw Mary and Joseph holding the baby out in the freezing cold. They had hot chocolate at the end. We ran into a couple families we knew, so that was fun to see our friends. Poor Livee hung in there pretty good. I thought she was warm but I got her in the car and she was frozen. Poor thing.
If any of you want a great free evening you should check it out. Obviously you have to be in the area. Hopefully they do it again next year, it is a great way to remind us why we celebrate Christmas.
