Aleena has turned into quite the Chatty Cathy. I think she is always talking. It is so cute. Here are a few of the things she has said recently:

*Conversation with mom and Aleena:
"Mom, you talk on the phone a lot."
"I do?"
"Yeah, you always say "Love ya, Bye""(I always say that to Daddy)

*Hallie was giving Aleena her fortune from a paper game
"Aleena you are going to marry Jase"
"And Zane too" (her best friend cousin-She loves to play with Zane, they hold hands all the time)

*Conversation between Mom and Aleena
"Aleena, could you get me the phone please?"
"Yeah, are you going to call Daddy?"
"Yes."
"Is he going to talk Spanish?" (No Daddy does not know any Spanish.)

*Conversation between Jase and Aleena
"Aleena, I will be right back. I have to go diarrhea."
"You have to go throw up poop?" (I guess that is diarrhea to her)
"Yeah"
So they both proceed to the bathroom. I can hear them talking.
"Did you go throw up poop yet?"
"Yes, can you smell it?"
I then hear Aleena gagging , saying "I got to get out of this place."

That is all I can think of right now. I thought there were a few more, but I a drawing a blank. I am sure there will be more to come out of her mouth.

Soggy Soccer

Saturday we woke up to thunder, lightning and wet rain. We weren't planning on going to Emmett to Savanna's soccer game because Jase had one 1/2 hour before Savanna, but his ended up being cancelled, so we dashed out to Emmett. Thank you to Bell's mom for taking Savanna out there. We got there right when the second half was starting. We sort of got lost =). I got my camera out and took one picture and the batteries died so this is the only shot I got of the game. The grass was so wet, or should I say soggy and puddely (if that is even a word). The girls would go to kick it and would slip, or the ball would land and instead of rolling it would just plop right in a puddle. Our goalies were just diving and rolling and were just sopping wet. A few girls were slipping and falling. It kind of got funny after a bit. Luckily the sun was actually shining during the game, so the wetness wasn't making them cold. We ended up winning, 4-1. They had a couple really great plays where they were passing and working together as a team. Savanna had a shot at a goal, but used her left foot and didn't give it quite enough power. Maybe next time. On the ride home I was taking off Savanna's shoes and socks and guards and I could have wrung them out. Her feet were nice and wrinkly and smelly.

Savanna is #1.

Hallie's Soccer Game

Friday was Hallie's first soccer game of the season. She did so good, even if it was windy and rainy. She looks so small out there. But she played strong. She played forward most of the game. She had a few shots at a goal, but just didn't quite get them in. She was quite aggressive and was not afraid to go in there and get the ball. She is also getting quite good at knowing where she should be. She was pretty bumbed they lost, 6-0. She was even more bumbed that she didn't earn a milkshake (like my kids never get ice cream or treats). It was Hallie's turn to bring the after game snack, so we found Hannah Montana Fruit roll-ups. It was fun. There is a girl on her team, Kenna, that has a sister on Savanna's team, and the other team had a girl that has a brother and sister that play with Jase and Savanna. So it is fun to all hang out and cheer our kids on. Great Game Hallie, I am proud of you.
