Final..

It is official. We have finally closed our Kuna chapter. The bank called on friday and said the cleaning crew would be coming in on monday, so anything we want needs to be picked up by then. We knew the time was getting close but with foreclosures it seems like things are unpredictable so we weren't exactly sure on any dates. Brad made a quick trip yesterday and got the last of our stuff out. Because it was a last minute trip, he just put most of it at Linden's for now til we can get a truck to come get it. He also took Savanna and Jase. Savanna's old soccer team was having a game in Glenns Ferry so they let her play in it. She was so super excited. Jase got to go just to play with Tyler. They stayed at Linden and Michelle's. Brad said it was a great stay and L & M were very gracious and went out of their way to cater to them. Thank you so much for taking care of them. They had a great time. So farewell to Harris Hawk. We had an awesome 8 1/2 years. I hope your new owners are good to you.

Compliment,..

I really try hard not to say things bad about other people or be judgemental in front of my kids or anyone for that matter. I will admit that I am not perfect and have said things that may have been inappropriate, but I really try in front of my kids. Even as a little girl, I remember just feeling so terrible inside if I saw any kids being teased. Anyways, the other day Hal, Savanna and I were talking. Hallie was commenting about a persons personality and behavior in class. She wasn't saying it in a hurtful way, just more of a matter of fact way. I had a smarty pants remark on the tip of my tongue that would have been inappropriate and I started to talk and said "never mind". I know quite a few people here from when I lived here and I am really trying hard to remember that that was a long time ago. I am different so I am sure these people are different and just re get to know people as their new self and to not pass any of my old opinions of people onto my kids. The girls are like "what" "just say it". I told them I better not. Savanna says " Mom, you never say bad things about people." The funny part is that she said it in a way, like I was the party pooper. I almost started busting out loud with laughter. That just made my day. I am not a bragger, but that comment made me happy. I am glad my kids notice that. They do pay attention to us. They do hear us and notice those things.
