Great Week

Sadly enough, I am without my nice computer. I keep thinking I need to try and download some pictures to this computer, but haven't yet. This laptop has a history of getting to hot when thinking very hard and shuts off. So I am afraid downloading will make it very tired. I can't wait though, I have video of Livee talking. She is so stinking cute.

We had a good week. I feel like it was a bit busy, but yet not all at the same time. My house got a bit neglected, but hopefully can catch back up in the next couple days.

Savanna still has soccer practice T/Th and she another great game today. She scored another one today. I know for sure this will be the last season of Sunday games. When we signed up we thought the games were on Saturday. We had already paid our money, and they were counting on Savanna to be a part of the team. We got the schedule and 6 out of the 8 games are on Sunday. Not so happy, but yet I didn't feel like we could quit. All the other teams only had 1 Sunday game. Kuna tends to get the bumb end of things because Boise teams don't like us. Coach A has already looked into other indoor soccer groups that have Saturday games because she knows there are a quite a few girls on the team that won't be playing next time if the games are all on Sunday.

Savanna is really loving the piano. She is always on that thing. I sometimes have to tell her to give my ears a break. She is getting quite good. She loves to get new songs, then she can't stop playing them til she has it memorized and can play it through at bullet speed. She just got done with Fur Elise, and is now working on Minuet in G.

Hallie had an appointment with Showalter on Wednesday. He is her Orthopedic Dr. She had to get an xray of back with her brace on. The pad that is under the one armpit is what forces her spine to be straight. Tom, her orthosist, needed a picture to make sure the pad is in the right spot and to see how she is responding to the brace. Tom will call us if he needs to do any adjustments. Her back is really responding. With her brace on, her curve has gone down from 33 degrees to 20 degrees. He was very excited about those numbers. There goal is to get it down 50 % from the 33. The next x ray in 5 months will be with her brace off to see how her spine responds with the brace off. She has to have it off for 6 hours before the x ray. I just can't say it enough, that I am so proud of how responsible she is about her brace. She is always looking at what time it is when she takes it off, and when she needs to get it back on. She doesn't even complain about it, oh I take that back. She doesn't like how the tank that goes under it shows with her dresses. I might have to take my scissors to one tank. Hopefully this continues.

Jase and Savanna both had Birthday sleepovers on Friday. Hallie had 2 of her friends sleep over. So we lost 2 and gained 2.

I had 3 watch orders this week for a lady at the Golfcourse.
Then on Saturday was asked to make cupcakes for a friends party. It was an Essense of Romance Party. Rachel and Michelle came with me. It was fun. Julie, the host, really makes me laugh. Rachel and I won a funny door prize that made us laugh. We learned quite a bit about each other. It was fun to get out.

Today we went over to the Browers for the big football game. They have a big tv. We had some yummy nachos, sticky popcorn, chocolate cupcakes and brownies. It was also Justin's birthday so we sang to him. He is a big 12 yrs old. The kids played while we watched the game.

The kids are worn out from all the wii games, and headed straight to bed. After having to drag Savanna off the piano, Hallie's last minute homework and a super long version of Pinnochio, and Livee tearing every page out of a notebook. Half way through the book Jase got up and said, "I am going to bed." Aleena picks the long ones. Good Night.
