Brad's neice, Kayla, and her husband Adam, just finished building their house in Meridian. They were having a house warming party on Saturday night. We originally were not going to be able to make it because we were just getting back from Bear Lake. We were super torn because Gramma Lisa was flying into town, and we don't get to see her often. We wanted to be there for Kayla too, but knew we would see her the next time around. Sorry, Kayla. So we woke up Sunday morning and decided to jump in the car and make it a day trip. We hadn't used our gas yet for the week from Brad's work, so it wouldn't really be an expensive trip. The kids traveled so well. I was a little worried since we just traveled 5 hours the day before. We called Lisa on our way, and we decided to meet up at Wahooz for a couple hours. It was great. The kids had a blast. The bumper boats brought the most laughs. Savanna was smart and didn't go on them. She didn't want to be drenched. Hallie and Savanna had some boys that were leaving handed them an extra ticket to the bumper cars. So they got an extra ride. We then drove over to Kayla's new house. It is just right by Wahooz. It is a beautiful house. It could be in a magazine. Very classy and well decorated. I am a bit jealous that every room is decorated and complete to her satisfaction. After visiting for a bit and eating some yummy leftovers from her night before house party, we headed out. It was great seeing everyone. I am glad we made the extra trip. Congrats Kayla and Adam, and Leo. Love my family.
