Life Support
Today I had one of those moments. I was at the Mall with my sister and her two friends. We walked out to go to the car and it was Hailing (spell), raining. I had on flip flops that had no tread on them whatsoever, so yes, I fell down on the slippery parking lot. Not only is that embarrassing for me, I think it is even more embarrassing for the people I was with. I kind of felt one of those weird "what do you say" moments. It didn't hurt at the moment, but my shoulder is hurting tonight. So sorry ladies for that. I am sure there were some laughs at my account on the drive home=). Thanks for letting me tag along, it was fun. Anyways, me falling led to my phone flying out of my purse pocket with out me knowing. Once I realized it was gone, I felt so lost. I knew that I must have lost it in the parking lot, so I drove back and looked on the road, but it was so wet I didn't see anything. I wasn't about to go in and check because my pants were wet from falling, I looked like I peed my pants. I drove to my next appt. knowing they had a phone there I could use. I only had about 5 seconds to talk to Brad and then they were calling my name. Not being able to call my phone to find out where it was, was enough to drive me crazy. Needless to say, after about 2 hours I was reunited with my phone. I am wondering if there is such a thing as phone addiction. Is it sad that I just felt so disconnected with out my phone?
