Care center entertainment
Most people that know my dad know that he is very involved and surrounded with music talent. So a few months ago he had a lady call him from the Mini Cassia Care Center and wanted him to put together a little bit of entertainment. So he volunteered us for this. It turned out good. All the kids sang a.song, Savanna, Hallie, Gracie and Quincey played a piano poece, Amy played the piano, dad had a couple piano numbers, I played a violin song. I am sure it made their day. It really made me think of my sister Cher. She spent the last year of her life in an Alzhimer unit. We miss her. The kids did great.
Brad's arm appointment
Brad had a check up on tuesday on his arm. Livee and I went with so we could get a peak at what was under his bandages. They cut the wrap off. Instead of stitches they glued him together. It looked good. It was a bit longer than I invisioned. He said it felt good to get it off, light. They took another set of x-rays. Brad had no idea what they did to his arm in surgery so we got to know finally. They probably told him but he was under some good meds on the night of surgery. He actually has a plate now at the top of his bone that runs down the thumb side. He broke it across and then cracked it down so it was in like 3 or 4 pieces. The other bone that runs down the pinky side had a crack in it but that didnt need any extra help.
The doctor let him have a new type of cast. It can come off to shower and for some excersising, but still can't do anything with it. It is cool. They warm the cast thing up and get it hot and then form it to his arm. It has a tiny bit of motion but that should get better in time.
