I finally made it home. We left this morning around 9:30. Pretty good time. We listened to a lot of Phantom on the drive. It really strikes a chord when you just see it performed. We stopped in Orem and had us a delicious lunch at Goodwood. Traffic was perfect today. It was really clear through SLC. The holiday weekend had everyone occupied doing much funner things than driving. We made it home around 5:30 ish. It was so nice to hug and kiss everyone. The house was still standing, the pets were still alive and I still have 5 children and my husband still loves me. The bonus was that the house was cleaner then when I left it. Life is good. I handed out each of their goodies I brought them and then we just chilled the rest of the day. I did the girls' nails with Kaydee's cool stamps and then we watched a movie. I guess tomorrow is "back to life, back to reality". I have had a few changes happen in the past week. Not sure if I mentioned them. First, I am going to be the 7th grade volleyball coach. We have been having 6 am practices before school. I am not the greatest player but they were really needing some help, I offered my bossing skills, and they accepted. Plus, this week I am on a trial run for the lunch lady job. Starting tuesday. If it fits after a week then I think I will be on everyday. It is from 10:15-1:15. It is the ideal schedule so I can be with my kids on no school days. Livee might have to go to the babysitters a couple times a week but I think it will be a good break for her since she is the only one home right now during the day. Plus, I have a gal that wants me to teach private violin lessons to her kids. I was just getting comfortable in my freedom. I know we can always use the money and that it isn't a killer schedule but I was kind of liking not being tied to anything. I know, a bit seldish. It will just take me some readjusting and planning ahead to coordinate things.
I really missed my bed and it is really calling me name. So Good night.
