So its not really death by raspberries but I have been surrounded by those juicy, aromatic, delicious, plump berries all day. It took me until 2:30 ish to get my picking done today. Luckily Kaydee came over and helped most of the time or I wouldn't have gotten them all picked. I need to get it to maybe 2 rows one day, and 2 rows the next day so it doesn't take so long. This is the 3rd picking this season. I did about 20 jars of jam yesterday with sunday's berries. It didn't set up as thick as I wanted. I debated about re-doing it, but decided it is set up enough that it will work. If anything it will be good for pancakes. Todays berries I did some better jam, froze some in little cupcake size dishes to plop out in baggies for smoothies, I froze some individually for snacking, and I bottled some in medium syrup. The smell of raspberries can never get old. My dad could have his own Raspberry Days here with as many raspberries as he has. I will be picking again in a couple days if any of you want to join me. What is everyone's favorite raspberry dish?
