Jase just finished up his football season. He was on the 5th/6th grade team. Yes, he is the smallest dude out there, #40. He started out the season not loving it but by the end he was way more into it. He is fast and could catch the guys. He learned how to hang on for dear life and wait for someone with some weight to come and get the kid down. He might be little, but he is strong and full of spunk. His team was actually undefeated for the season. They were so excited.

Water fun
Our neighbors have built this really fun water slide in their front yard. We were invited to come and play with some neighborhood friends. Can't wait to go again next summer.
Savanna's first High School volleyball season
Savanna LOVES volleyball. During the summer I would find her out serving the ball against the barn, or passing it to herself. Anything to keep her hands on the ball. She did a CSI camp in Twin Falls, which she loves and would come to my Jr Hi open gyms every week. So when try-outs came around for the season to start she was so excited when they told her she could dress for varsity and maybe get some play time. About a week into the season, one of the varsity girls, K, had some medical issues that would put her out for 3 weeks. She was one of their main Outside Hitters. They had to pull someone up from JV and so Savanna was asked to take her spot. She was nervous yet excited at the same time. She had one jv girl that was not very nice to her about it but everyone else seemed very supportive. She said the V girls were very nice and welcoming. She handled the pressure very well. Her first game she was super nervous until she hit her first ball and then she said it felt good.
The 3 weeks were up and so they started working in K again and so she wasn't sure if she would stay on Varsity or come back to JV and than the other Outside Hitter, Sh, sprained a thumb and was out. So Savanna stayed on. A couple weeks later, K, who was just getting her game back injured her foot and was out for the rest of the season. So, Savanna ended up being on Varsity for the whole season. She has really grown from this season. I am so super proud of how she carried herself. She was never the cause of drama, I never saw her with a bad attitude, and she really played her heart out.
This video I got is at Districts. Savanna had a 9 point serve streak. Unfortunately, I didn't get any video of her on the front row. I get to busy watching the game and forget to video. Bad Mom.
