Balancing Act...

This post is mostly for my venting benefits. I feel better if I get things off my chest. My last post was of my last week. As I wrote it, I felt like I had a busy week, but yet I didn't get anything done. I have been really trying to get in a workout most everyday and eat healthy. This is totally consuming my every thought and all my energy. My workouts are 45 minutes long, then there is the stretching and cool down, so it is taking about an hour. Which I am really beginning to enjoy my exercise time and look forward to it. The eating part takes up my thoughts. I am trying to really read my body, and be very aware of what I am putting in my mouth and why. I have attached eating sweet treats to many emotional things and now I am trying to unattach myself to this bad habit. It is an incredibly hard journey, but I am doing it. I had 5 incredible workouts last week and am eating so much better. I feel better inside and am feeling stronger. A funny I do when I am exercising is a chant that I do when I am running. I have been reading a marathon book and it talks about positive self talk, and when I am feeling tired and my body wants to stop, I should have some chants that I say to myself to boost my energy back up. It actually works. Here is my chant. (No teasing=).)
Burn-Fat
Burn that Fat.
Lean-Mean
Muscle Machine.
SwimSuit Season is almost Here.

I keep saying it in rythm to my running. I couldn't believe it but I got through 4 miles in 45 minutes on Saturday. It felt soo good.
Anyways, this is where I am out of balance. My house is being so neglected. My kids are eating stuff out of a can or box for dinner most nights I am at work, the laundry is piling up, kitchen is always backed up with dishes, bathrooms are yucky but yet I can't get motivated to fix these
problems. Why is it that my brain can't get motivated in all areas. I am so super motivated in the exercise health area, but not in the other. How do I balance things out. My other problem is that I always can find time for my computer. I know it is a laziness. I know I am the only one that can change it, but I have got to find the spark that gets me motivated, and keeps me there. That is my mission this week. To find my missing spark.

Last Week

I am just going to put our last week in to one post. There weren't any pictures to really put in. I worked T, Wed, Fri, and Sat. this week. It is getting busier at work with the sun out. Preschool has been at my house this month. Aleena just loves school. We have it on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. It is just Aleena, Aubrey and Ava. They are easy and very excited to be big girls. We have been talking about dinosaurs this month. I made some playdough on Tuesday and they played with that forever. We had Amanda over Wednesday. I am her babysitter, but her and Aleena just play the whole day. They were good and came to the store with me. Albertson's was having a box top special and so we got some canned goods. I was able to get 3-500 point tickets for box tops. Which the kids were able to use to buy Reed Elementary shirts. They were so excited. Thursday after school, my m-in-law wanted to spend some time with Aleena and Livee so I took them out there after preschool. I had a couple hours to myself. I took a nap and tackled a LARGE load of laundry while watching Oprah. Savanna and Hallie went to a special Achievement Day activity for church and were able to sign off a few goals. That is when I got to watch Oprah. I am not even sure when I watched her last. Savanna has been busy with Soccer. She has practice 4 nights a week. Brad is coach for 2 of those nights, so Hallie usually watches Aleena and Livee and Jase goes to practice with Daddy on nights that I am at work. Saturday morning I got a great run in of 4 miles. Savanna had a soccer game, Hallie had a birthday party and I went to work. My weeks are flying by way to fast.
