The start of this week was a bit crazy. Tuesday night was our Christmas Enrichment Activity, and I am still the planner for those. I sometimes wonder if I am meant to really have this calling because I am so crazy the week of the activity, but I actually really enjoy it and I only have to plan 4 or 5 a year. For our activity we had a progressive dinner. It was a bit tricky to plan because we have such a large ward. We met at the church for a quick appetizer, loved the sugar coated cranberries. They were so pretty and yummy. I handed out numbers to everyone as they arrived. We tried to keep it mixed up so that everyone could get a chance to know some new ladies. There were those few that wanted to be with their buddies, but that is okay too. We had 5 tracks, and I think there ended up being about 8 ladies in each track. After appetizers we headed out for a salad house. Ours was yummy with cranberries and goodies on it. For our main dish of lasagna and bread, we met at THallberg. Can I just say, she has the cutest house. Her husband is very talented in the woodworking department, and he has made some beautiful pieces. I love how they have taken older pieces,like dressers and doors, and turned them in to not just furniture, but pieces of art also. We then headed over to dessert, which was delicious. It was so fun. I got to know some new friends.
Now I am still trying to get my house back in order, oh wait, it isn't ever in order, I just like to say that because it makes me feel like I have some organization. So here is to surviving another enrichment.
