Tonight was "Meet the Team" night for the High School. It should have been called "Football Night" but oh well. They introduced all the teams and then the football team played for a bit. I just can't get that into football. But I am sure ready to watch some Volleyball. Savanna's team has been practicing all week. There are new coaches and it is all new. They went into it this week with nobody having a spot so anything could happen. This morning they announced teams or who is JV and who is Varsity. Savanna was pulled up to Varsity because of some injured girls. This year she wasn't sure how it would play out. She feels like she is a strong player and her hitting has gotten better. She didn't care either way as long as she got to play. They announced today. She is on Varsity. They start practice as seperate teams this next week and have their first match on the first day of school. Can't wait. Hallie is playing on the 8th grade team. They too have been practicing. She has improved so much since last season. Her and Savanna were able to attend 2 really great camps this summer. Can't wait to watch some ball. Good luck girls.
