I survived

It has been a week full of projects.  I am listing my week so that I can show to my children that I actually do something in the day.  Monday I worked on my Christmas lesson that I had to teach today.  It was a very time consuming lesson in the planning department.  Tuesday and Wednesday I spent sewing.  Heidi and I serve in the young women's together.  We decided to make our girls an apron for Christmas.  They turned out super cute.  We had a game night at our YW activity.  It was so fun.  I am the Kindergarten room mom so I have been coordinating and planning the Christmas party.  Tuesday and Thursday I babysat Presley.  Thursday I had to alter 6 dresses and figure out how to add fabric to a too small jacket for dancers.  There was a dance recital Saturday.  I already mentioned the caroling.  Thursday night I drove Aleena into Burley for a practice with her show choir.  They are singing with the local philharmonic.  Friday I spent the day at the school.  There was a Christmas program in the morning and then it was the Kindergarten party.  I had a quick break until I had to go back to the school and help with Jase's class party.  After school I had to find the bottom of my house and entertain the neighborhood kids.  Oh Tuesday night, Hallie and her friends wanted to do service so they made about 5 batches of brownies and delivered to some elderly people in town.  And then thursday she wanted to make cookies to take to her friend that is moving.  So needless to say, the house was a disaster.  Saturday was the kids' dance/gym recital which involves hours of hair and makeup and getting all costumes, tights, shoes, hot shorts(8-not including Hallie's) all together.  We did make it to Dairy Queen after the show.  They all deserved it for their hard work.  Saturday night I had to go back to Burley.  I forgot my gas card earlier so I had to go back so I didn't lose 13 gallons of gas.  I decided to try and finish off my shopping while in town.  After getting home I had to finish up my handouts for my lesson today.  Then my final act was playing my violin today in sacrament meeting.  I haven't cooked all week or done much cleaning so I can't wait to cook dinner today and just sit and have a family dinner and eat the most delicious ham that we got from Grammie Lisa- thank you so much.
Anyways, I survived.  And I am so thankful that I am able to do all these things.  They give my life purpose and I love to be involved in my kid's lives. I can't wait to have these next two weeks off with my kids.
