Family Home Evening

We were asked to be responsible for Family Home Evening at Parkview, a rehab/assisted living home in Burley.  Our ward is in charge of planning their Monday night Family Home Evening for February.  They asked us to maybe just do some music for about 15-20 minutes.  I talked Kell into bringing herself and kids along to sing with us.  We just sang some of their favorite primary songs. Dad played the piano.  Aleena wanted to sing one by herself so she picked When I am baptized song.  Silly me didn't take any pictures.  I have gotten out of the habit of picture taking.  They had fun.  They got to help pass out cookies to everyone and we helped a lady to her room.  We then stopped by Dairy Queen afterwards.  Well, I bribed them to come with promises of Dairy Queen after.  Savanna and Brad ended up not coming.  Savanna was asked at the last minute to come and play volleyball and Brad got home from work about the same time we were leaving.  I don't think they realize how much this little act of service touched these peoples lives. What a great evening.
