Robinson Day

Kaydee and I haven't been able to hang out much since she moved so we planned a day last friday to hang out.  Her house isn't very far from Nat Soo Pah, a natural warm springs pool.  The outside temp was only in the 70's but it was sunny and the pool water is around 90'.  Kell and her family came too.  We had a lot of fun.  3' was the shallowist so Livee and Aleena wore life jackets. As soon as we got there she said "I want to go off the diving board."  So I told her to come and get used to her life jacket first. Livee wasn't so sure about that.  She about choked my neck off out of fear.  After I got her to trust her life jacket, she couldn't stop giggling.  She thought that was the grandest thing.  So now she wanted to go off the board.  I told her let's just try jumping in off the side first.  After a while she got brave and tried it but I had to be right there.  Then we headed to the deep end.  She swam out there with us for a while.  We had to be out there to supervise the littles that had life jackets on jumping off the board.  She brave and actually climbed on the diving board and took about 2 steps but then turned around.  After seeing all the kids doing it she wanted to try again.  She got out on the board a few more steps but just couldn't get to the end.  Unfortunately, we weren't there long enough for her to get brave enough.  She did get brave enough to jump in the shallow side all by herself.

Savanna and Aunt KD.  Some day I will get her picture, smiling.

Jase, as of that day, had been fighting the "pass the test for the deep end" battle.  He has been too afraid to try it this year.  I tried to tell him that his fear was holding him back. He is a good swimmer and he is super strong and I knew he could do it.  He needed to pump himself up mentally and he would be fine.  So he headed in there and did it right off the bat.  He was so excited.

He kept getting bloody noses all day.  Not sure why.  Maybe all the tricks he was doing.

This is the fun slide.  They had mats that made it slide faster.

This is Livee at the end being brave jumping in by herself

Livee wanted to try the slide.  She got this far up the steps and had to turn around.

After swimming we headed over to Aunt KD's house.  We had dinner and played for a bit.  They have some really cute, tiny bunnies.  They were fun.

It takes a cute bunny to get her to look at the camera=)

Bunnies nurse on their backs, so when you lay them on their backs they relax and go to sleep.  Craziest, cutest thing.

My baby bunny holding baby bunnies.

Here they all are.
I only got video of Jase doing tricks.  I will get the girls next time we go.

Jase doing back flip.

We all came home sunburnt.  Not sure why we didn't reapply but we should have.  Hallie didn't even put any on.  I saw all the other kids get in the sunblock line so I assumed she did, but she didn't.  Ouch.  Livee's life jacket wore a huge sore on her inner thigh, right where her panties go.  She didn't even complain about it until we got home, so I was quite surprised to see such a big sore.  She hasn't been able to wear her panties this week because it hurt there.  Poor thing.  We will do things a little different next time.

Summer Art

Livee and Aleena are in Summer Art.  There is a very talented lady in our town that offers fun programs for the kids.  Since Livee and Aleena have a break from gymnastics in the summer, we decided to do art.  It is once a week for 3 hours.  Livee was a bit nervous about going. And she didn't want me to leave.  I kind of jinxed her.  When I was doing the Lunch Lady job, I called daycare Art Class because the other kids were in art.  So she related art class to daycare which she hated.  Anyways, I stayed for about 10 minutes and after she got done she loved it.  I have decided to take pictures of their projects and then if they don't get saved, we will still have the memory.

Livee- They talked about 3-D

Livee-Fun little box.  There is sparkly paint on it.

Aleena-this is "squoosh art".  They put dabs of paint on the paper and fold it down the middle and squoosh it together.  Then they add eyes to turn it into a creature.

Aleena also painted a Fun little box.  It has disappeared already.

Brienna Graduation

This trip to Boise would be easier to put into parts.  It was a busy full weekend with a lot of visits.

Part 1
We stayed at Linden and Michelle's house.  They have a new kitty named Daisy.  She was super sweet and my girls could not leave her alone.  I am sure she was relieved for us to leave.

Aleena and Daisy

Hallie doesn't have a cousin there her age, but she keeps busy entertaining the little ones.
Jase, Zane, Tyler
Jase was glad to have some boys to play with.

Kaisey decided to do her own hair.  She would not let anyone fix it.  They were her little devil horns.

We always have fun staying at their house.  Sunday night they invited Amylee and family over and we got to just hang out and catch up.  Thanks guys for letting us crash there.

Part 2
Brienna Graduation

Brienna graduated from Borah High.  They are all getting too old.  Brad, Livee, Hallie and Savanna drove down on Friday to go to the actual ceremony.  I stayed back with Aleena and Jase.  Jase had a baseball tournament and Aleena had play practice.  We got into town Saturday late afternoon.  Brad spent quite a bit of time visiting his grandma Gladys and Bob.  Gladys recently fell and broke her hip.  She is recovering from surgery and Bob has been lonely.  It sure made Brad's day when Bob lit up when he visited him.  Bob said "Where have you been?"  Brad really has a patient loving playful way about him when he is around them.

Sunday, we went to a graduation BBQ at Anna's parents house.  It was very nice.  These are BBQ pictures.

 Part 3
Day with Tasha and Grama Dar
We ended up staying Monday to spend the day with Grama Dar, Tasha and kids.  It was really fun.  We went and saw where Tasha and Mike are living now.  Cute place.  Grama brought a fun gift for the girls.  It is real wool that has been dyed and softened some how.  You take it and felt it into shapes for different projects.  The kids thought it was pretty cool.  I think Aleena loved it the most.  She did it the whole next day.

Livee loving Reece's bike.
Reece was showing Livee her rock collection.
The girls exploring the neighborhood.
The kids trying Felting.

We then decided to go get some lunch and go to a nearby park.  It was a great park and a beautiful day out.

Livee kept posing for us.

Savanna having a turn.

Grama tried out the swing.  She kept trying to get off but her flip flop was stuck in the rope.  My kids laughed all the way home over this.

Hallie is helping Aleena.  Jase, Mr. Crazy, jumps on and just takes off.

Hallie is helping Livee go across.

It was a great trip.  My kids really had a good time.
