I just haven't written in a while and needed to write some things down. Last weekend, my girls and I went to Logan. Hallie and Aleena danced at the Utah Dance Festival on Saturday. We got a hotel room for Friday and Saturday and just had a great time. Savanna ended up wanting to tag along and so I let Livee come too. Jase and Brad stayed home. Se had girl time. They had boy time.
We stayed at the University Inn. I was under the impression there was a pool but when we got there it changed to no pool. They used to let the guests use the pool on campus but for some reason that changed. The gjs were bummed at first but it still ended up being fun. Saturday was full of curling hair, make-up, dancing, waiting, dancing, waiting, etc. Savanna had some friends there that were watching sisters and Livee had friends there too. We actually walked from our Hotel to our performing building. That actually really worked out great,. It was a bit cold and drizzly but with the tight limited parking, we would have walked the same distance. I learned that my kids are similar to their father in the eating out department. I told them I would take them out to dinner to a real restaraunt. We don't eat out very often and when we do it is Mcdonald's (gross) or taco bell. So I thought it would be a fun treat to go out. Savanna was more open to places but the 3 others only wanted Mcdonald's. So I decided it wasn't worth buying food they won't like because it is different. Big wimps:). So we hit Mcd's, Panda Express because I wasn't wanting the other, and a frosty from Wendy's and then we had a big picnic in our room. We laughed lots and got our tummies full. Sunday we slept in and headed out. We weren't ready to go home yet so we found a small mall and stopped for a minute. When Livde and Aleena started having meltdowns over candy and a stupid "win an i-pod claw machine" I knew it was time to head home. Livee slept the whold way home. She was such a wiggle worm the whole weekend. Watching all those dancers gave her dancing/cartwheel fever. She cartwheeled down every hall and was dancing the rest of the time. She made me tired just watching her.
Jase has started baseball. This year we are driving to Burley for practice. Last year they had enough Oakley boys that we had practice here. We aren't as lucky this year. He is probably going to pitch. We will see. He loves it. Aleena has her first softball practice today. They will practice in Burley too but her coach is from Oakley so she just takes the girls in which helps out a ton.
Savanna started Driver's Ed this week. I am kind of ready yet not for her to drive. She is excited.
I have just been babysitting a couple days a week. Other than that just trying to keep up on the regular every day stuff. Tomorrow Hallie, Livee and I ade headed to Boise. Hallie has another dance comp on Friday. I tried to get X-rays scheduled for the same trip but the office just called and the Dr just had to reschedule because of surgery. So I guess we will make another trip but I am going to wait til school is out. We have recitals coming up and Hal really hates to miss school.
It sounds like we are crazy busy but right now things are actually pretty mild. It is nice. I do better with less chaos.

Mulan
The Music Department at the High School put on the play Mulan. Savanna had a small part. She was one of the ancestors. She had some lines and a one line singing solo. I did not get it on tape. Good job Savanna.

Easter
Easter started on Saturday. I volunteered Savanna, Hallie and I to help at the egg hunt bright and early.
Easter morning.
We didn't have time to get eggs done before Sunday, well I should really say energy to get them done. We waited until after church to do them.
The kids playing games.
We had a great Easter. It was simple and just our family. Love my family.
Spring Break part 3
Found another picture from the zoo.
We spent one day over at our friends the Browers. The kids had fun hanging out. We had dinner with them and the kids played and we caught up on life. I forgot to take any pictures. Some of them stayed the night and some didn't.
We spent one afternoon at Settler's Park. The kids played hard.
My family has our Easter rice crispy nest tradition. I decided we could make them while at Michelle's so then we could share that tradition. They were yummy and cute. The kids loved it.
Hallie is always so great to step in and help the littles with out even being asked.
Broxton thought for sure he should come with us when we were packing up. He kept asking "Where I sit Aunt Lib?"
We had a great week. Thanks for all the fun times.
We are so blessed to have such great family.
Spring Break Part 2
After lunch in the park, we headed over to the zoo. We weren't going to go because they were all cold during lunch and it was sprinkling a tiny bit. But they all started crying when we told them we weren't goin. Kell and I decided we would go since we were next door. It actually turned out nice. It sprinkled a tiny bit but then it warmed up and was perfect weather. The kids really behaved well. Kayla and Savanna didn't do the zoo. Kayla went and got her new braces on and Savanna tagged along and watched Broxton. For the most part Hallie was the photographer. Aleena and Jase got to use their own cameras they got for Christmas. They were taking pictures of everything. My camera ran out of battery half way through. I have a few more pictures on my phone that I will have to post later.
We got to see them add 3 baby jelly fish to this tank. They are really tiny.
They were soaking up the sun.
These were giant rabbits.
porcupine. Bit blurry:)
