Happy Birthday Dad

I am a day late, but Happy Birthday Dad. We love you and hope you had a special day. We wish we were able to be there on your special day. Just know that we love you and are so blessed to have a dad like you. You are such a wonderful example to me and I couldn't have asked for a better dad. I love you.

Savanna and Hallie's program

Hallie had a music program last friday and Savanna's choir sang at the beginning. I went to take pictures of the girls and my batteries were almost dead. I got a couple shots. Hallie got to do a line dance. She loved it.

Snuggles

I was feeling tired and a bit grumpy the other night and was sitting on the couch.

The next thing I knew I had 2 beautiful children snuggling on my lap, and we all took a quick rest. Brad came home and found us on the couch. My kids know how to get me ungrumpy. There is nothing better then snuggling up to a sleeping child.

Pork-n-bean sandwhich

The other day I was totally craving a Pork-n-bean-n-cheese Sandwhich. My family will remember those. When we were kids we used to eat these all the time and I have had some pretty strange looks when I have told people about these. Do you guys remember eating these? If you are ever in the mood to try something new here is what you do.

Spread a scoop of pork-n-beans on bread, put slices of cheese on top and broil in the oven til toasty brown. Enjoy. Yum, Yum.

Soccer Spring Season

Our spring soccer season has started. Hallie decided she didn't want to play this season, so it has been a bit less chaotic. I haven't been able to get pictures of Savanna playing yet, but a few of Jase. There have been a few cold games, but a few nice weather games. Spring just keeps teasing us.


Savanna's team has won 2 and lost 2. They moved up a bracket this season to challenge their team, and they have really held in there.
Jase's team is greatly improving. Jase is starting to do more thinking on the field instead of just running and chasing the ball. He is a fast little devil out there.
