Football time....

Jase is officially old enough to play tackle football. Yikes. He went to a little football camp at the high school last week. He loved it. His friend asked if he was going to play the season and he told him yes. His friend responded with "your gonna get pummled". He is small but I don't think he is the smallest one on his team. A few days ago he got his gear and pads and had his physical. Tonight he had a small practice. He said the helmet gave him a headache. Hopefully that gets better over time. He has a jamboree in a couple weeks. That will be his first real game.
On another note, I spent most of the day playing garden & canning games. It took me most of the morning to pick the berries. I had to play taxi today too. Pick up Savanna from Cheer, take Aleena to art, finish school registration, pick up Aleena, run Jase to practice, take him his pads we thought we didn't need, pick him up from practice, drop kids at the pool, pick them up. Wow, I can't believe I am going to say this, "I am looking forward to when Savanna has her driving license". Yes, I am thankful that all my running around today was just in Oakley, but somedays it gets to driving me nuts. I spent the second half of my day in the kitchen canning. I did some apricot jam and bottled some raspberries and more jam. Dad was a great help today.

We were lucky this last weekend to have our good friends, the Browers from Kuna, stop by for a visit on their way home. It was so good to see them again. We swapped kids for the week. A and T stayed here and Hallie went with. I am really missing my Hallie. I hope she is having fun. We are meeting up tomorrow to swap kids and go do some school shopping. It should be a fun day.
