Baseball

Jase had his first baseball game tonight. He is playing for an organization out of Burley but there is enough boys in Oakley that we practice in Oakley and play games in Burley. He was so excited to get his new jersey and they got matching hats. They were very stylin'. Jase played right field, 2nd base and then did some pitching. They won 20 something to 2. I am really excited for the season. He has been missing playing.

Savanna singing

Savanna sang her first church solo last Sunday. She sang with the choir and then had a solo. She was so super nervous. I wished I would of recorded it but felt a little strange about that. The song was "when there's love at home". I cried through the whole thing. I was so proud of her. She did such a beautiful job. She said she was nervous but she hid it well.

Track day

Yesterday was the 4, 5, 6 track day. They even invited Raft River over to give them some competition. They were allowed to sign up for 3 events. Jase did some races, running long jump and a ball accuracy. He did well. I tried to persuade him to wear his lighter tie shoes but was insistant on NOT. He was pretty fast on his races. Not sure if he placed yet. Couldn't quite tell but it was close. He jumped really great on his running long jump. For having the shortest legs in his class he really did awesome.
Hallie did awesome too. She did standing and running long jump and a race. Again for having the shortest legs in her class she really did good. She was jumping over 5 feet on the standing jumps. You can really see the height differences in the pictures.
Jase woke up super sore this morning. He could hardly walk. He had quite a few races right in a row. What a fun day. Livee got to eat lunch with Hallie at school. She loved that. Savanna even took her to hang with her friends. What a great time. Aleena's is coming up on Monday....
