Putting Up The Tree 2008

We started putting up the Christmas Tree on Monday. We got the tree out and got it up. The kids are ready to put the ornaments on before the tree is up, so they were disappointed when we had to wait until Tuesday to decorate it.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thursday morning we made some goodies for dinner. The kids had fun. They were a bit more work than we anticipated. We then headed over to Dar's for dinner around 2. It was sure yummy. We played some games, and just hung out with family. We came home around 7 and did a bit of packing. We headed out Friday morning around 9 am for Grama Judy's. Brad dropped me off in Twin Falls and I got to do a little shopping with the girls. Michelle picked me up and then KD met us in town later. We saw Kell, but she decided to ditch us and spend the day with her husband-Traitor=). Saturday we just spent the day hanging out. The cousins just played and played and played.

Nothing like a good game of War.

Uncle Greg brought his 3 baby puppies. All the kids had fun with them. There were a few tears from some ankle biting. The dogs are cow dogs and when the kids get running and playing outside the puppies like to get them.

Tator and Aleena were Greg's best friend because he was holding the puppy.

Aleena and Macey found our old skates from when we were kids. They were way too big and I thought for sure one of them was going to break something. It kept them entertained for hours.

A couple funnies that happened over the weekend.

*We stopped at the rest stop and Brad took Jase in to go potty. They were big tall urinels(spelling?) that flush by themselves. He went potty, and turned to walk away. He then came back and stood in front of it for a minute. He turned and looked at Brad and said "Dad, I don't think it heard me pee." He must have been to small to trigger the sensor.

*The other was at KD's house. KD and I were standing to the bar, Jase was sitting across from us eating his dinner. We didn't even know he was listening to us. We were munching in the kitchen, and KD said "I have got an eating problem." SHe was just commenting because we had done way to much eating. Jase said "My mom has an eating problem too."

KD asked "What kind of eating problem does your mom have?"

Jase "She is always sneaking in the pantry and the fridge."

KD & I just about choked on our food laughing. It may not sound funny in words, but we were laughing so hard. He cracks me up.
