The summer play at the local theatre is Wizard of Oz. Savanna and Aleena decided they wanted to try out. I recorded their song they sang. I should have recorded some of the reading because Aleena was so cute. They had her read a part that was a monkey making this funny sound. She did it so cute. They really did a great job. We don't know if they got a part yet. We don't find out until tomorrow. I am proud of them either way. It takes guts to get up there on stage. I played the piano part for Aleena's song. I was more nervous then they were. I don't accompany very often and it is scary. Aleena said she wasn't even nervous and she totally wasn't.
Update: Savanna did not get the Dorothy part. He told her that she was his pick for a younger cast but he had to go with the older cast. He said her audition was awesome. She is still in it, maybe just a chorus girl.
Aleena is going to be a monkey and a munchkin. Fun, fun.
Livee and Aleena have really enjoyed their gymnastics class and really come along ways. Livee is on the far left and Aleena is on the right with her hair in tight braids. It was a bit hard to record and get both of them in the screen at the same time so sorry if one of them gets cut out for a bit.
