Happy Birthday Brad...

Brad celebrated his 40th birthday last week.  He didn't want anything big, and requested we just have a night without guests.  So we moved the dining room table into the room by the fireplace.  I borrowed some fancy tablecloth, and plates and made some little candle dishes.  The kids helped me hang lights around the room.  It was really fun.  For appetizers we had cheese stix.  Then peanut butter filled celery, instead of salad, and then for the main dish, we had creamy Chicken Fettucini Alfredo.  All his very favorites.  I made garlic bread stix and forgot to serve them.  I am so air headed some times.  He requested a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge icing, and the Berlinguets can't have cake without chocolate mint ice cream.  I asked some trivia questions in between  courses and during dinner about Daddy.  The kids liked that?  For example:  Which finger did Daddy break?  What kind of spider bit him when he was a baby?  They knew some, and learned about the ones they didn't.  Happy Birthday Brad.  Also, thank you to those that let me borrow some stuff.  It really made the night special.

Long Hair...

I can't believe how long Livee's hair is getting.  It grows so fast.  I wish mine could grow this fast.  And it actually has some weight to it.  I think she will have hair a lot like Hallie.  She did not want me to take her picture.  It worked out good because I only wanted the back of her.  Ha ha.

It is almost Livee's birthday, Feb 12.  We have been doing some talking about it.  I ask her what kind of cake she wants.  "A bwoo one"  A blue one.
What kind of frosting does she want. "Bwoo".  "I want evewyfing bwoo."  We have had this conversation mulitple times and she is sticking to "bwoo".  I even notice her spotting things in the store and pointing out they are "Bwoo".  There is a really cute pillow pet I wanted to get her I saw at Walgreens.  It is a red puppy for the month of February.  Do you think she will be disappointed that it isn't "bwoo"?
