Utah Dance Festival
Savanna, Hallie, Aleena, Livee and myself drove to Logan, Utah. We left Friday evening and stayed overnight. We had to be ready to dance by 9 am Saturday and so I didn't want to wake up and drive in the wee hours of the morning. It was a nice girls weekend.
Here we are at competition. We stayed at the University Inn in Logan. The University Inn is actually on campus and was pretty close to the building we performed in. We stayed there so we could walk because parking is so crammed at the dance place. It just so happed to be a drizzly day. We walked anyways. It was just a mist coming down. So Aleena put her hood on so we didn't ruin her curls. It was fine.

Aleena tends to get very independant at these things. She doesn't want me to help her with anything. The first time she did it I thought I was going to wring her neck, but I have learned to let her get dressed and I just help her hang things up and fix her accessories because she is good at just throwing her stuff everywhere in between costume changes. I am trying to embrace her idea of being a big girl, but sometimes she gets quite the sassy attitude with it. We survived and didn't collide too much.

They actually had 2 other dances but I somehow missed pictures for those 2.
Livee danced and jumped off this platform for hours. Watching dancers gets Livee in the dancing mood and she just twirls, wirls, leaps and cartwheels everywhere.
