I have never been much into yard sales. I really don't love having one, and I just have never been fond of going to them. I don't really have a reason for this, other then they are a lot of work for a few dollars, and I never really found anything worth much when I have been to a few. My mind was changed this weekend. I went over to a "higher income" neighborhood in Meridian and I found some really cool stuff that hadn't been used but maybe once or twice. Some of it was brand new. I only spent $20. The picture doesn't do justice, so here is the list:
1 pair of Heelies (looked like they were worn only a few times)
Fun 3-d dinosaur book
2 princess barbies that crown lites up, in wedding dress.
1 polly pocket with one outfit and purse to carry her in
5 pairs of flip flops for Savanna
White dress shirt/ dress pants for Jase
3 shirts/ 1 shorts for Jase
1 pair of black sketcher shoes for later, (look brand new)
Some sandals for Jase
3 waitress aprons (great for crafting, or my job)
Tony Hawk Helmet for Jase, still had tag plastic on it
2 crafting caddys, look brand new (I have been wanting some of these)
Purse/ diaper bag
Livee a little phonics radio that has batteries in it.
It really made my day. These are the kinds of yard sales I need to find more often. Now I am thinking of all sorts of things to look for in yard sales that could save me tons of money.
