survived...

I actually survived my yard sale week end. There were a few minutes of chaos that were pretty crazy but over all it was a huge success. I am so thankful that the weather was decent. It was frosty in the mornings when putting out stuff but warmed up a bit. It wasn't raining or snowing and the wind was pretty calm. Thursday was a bit stressful. Just trying to get everything organized and ready. The showings of the house are the most stressful. I had like 3 during the yard sale. I am surprised they made it out of the house alive with the kids in there running around. Once I had the yard sale set up and going I seemed to relax a bit. Thank you to Dennis and Rachel for helping me get the big things out friday morning and for helping Hallie get to her soccer game and for getting Jase to his monster truck show. A huge thank you to Linden and Michelle. You guys really were there for me and I loved getting to hang out with you and I know the kids loved hanging out with your kids, oh and for getting Savanna to her game. My kids and all the extra kids here saturday, pretty much fended for themselves for the day. Poor Livee was so dirty and tired and missed her mommy by the end of the day. It took about 5 min of me holding her and she was out. We did sell quite a bit of stuff. We sold the dining set, bar stools, fridge, Linden's deep freeze, all my fabric and sewing scraps, lots of clothes, and lots of little misc. things. I had quite a few people say I won the award for the earliest yard sale. So that leaves me with one week left. I took today off and am going to dig in tomorrow. It is really starting to sink in now that things are empty in the house. This is really happening.
