Jase got his stuff together and was able to play in his first 7th Grade basketball game. They played in Shoshone. He did so well. Made some awesome shots and steals. Yes, he is the shortest boy on his team but he seems to make up for that in speed. His nickname in football was "chihuahua" and he fits into that same nickname for basketball. He was just grinning ear to ear after his game, which they did win 32-4. He said it felt so good to be actually playing instead of sitting out.
Today is also Brad's birthday. I haven't been home much to get anything ready for it, so tomorrow I will be able to make him a yummy dinner and have cake and ice cream. I went to Twin Falls on the hunt for a banana chair for his birthday, and then headed over to Jase's game. Going to Twin is not just a quick trip. It usually takes an hour to get there and I try and hit the stores we don't have in Burley like Costco. Kaydee met up with me and we hit Costco together and grabbed some lunch. I do love hanging out with my sister. I got home at 6:40 and left at 6:50 to have Activity Days. We tried to learn how to cross stitch. I found some little starter kits. We actually got like 14 stitches done. Wow, that was rough. Not sure they are to go home and work on it. So I finally made it home around 8:30. Brad opened his gifts and then we went to bed. Luckily he is very understanding. Happy Birthday Brad. I will make it up to you tomorrow.
