The school season has officially begun. I definitely have sad and happy feelings about that. I am very sad that summer is ended, we had a great summer (post I'm still working on), but I am happy to get a routine and some quietness. The kids were excited. Savanna was my only one that made the comment, "school is stupid". She doesn't like getting up in the morning.After the kids left, I actually crawled back into my bed. Livee has not been sleeping good these past 2 nights, and so I nursed her in bed this morning and we both fell back to sleep. Aleena was up late last night (I am not sure why), so she slept in too. It was so nice to take a nap. I just have felt kind of chaotic these past few days, so the quietness was nice.
Aleena was an angel today. She is very self entertaining. She can play for hours if there is no one there to bother her. I had her help me carry some boxes to the garage and she found her way into the boxes and so did her best friend Dude-our cat. She played out there for quite some time. Dude was purring so loud. Luckily he lets her just do whatever, and when he has had enough he runs away.
Then she smelled chocolate and came running to help. As soon as I do anything in the kitchen, she drags the chair over and ready to my "best helper". So she helped me make up some chocolates.
The kids had a great day at school. Savanna said her teacher Ms. Moony, (I can't remember her new name) is very funny and crazy. They all had great things to say over all about their first day.
