Project

So I have been like a need a project so I got fabric for some skirts. I was helping KayDee with some for her girls and my girls were wondering when I was making theirs. So here is a picture of Hallie's. I doubt they will be done by Easter, but thats ok. No hurry. Hallie did most of the sewing on hers. She really likes to sew. I did the hard seams. It went super fast with her sewing and me cutting and ironing. Hopefully dad can tolerate the mess for a few days while I finish them.

Cleaning

I have taken on a tiny little job. I am going to clean the local playhouse. I might have mentioned it before. So I went over for my first time. Dad showed me where stuff was. Some of my kids came with and were running around and dancing on stage. Oh how it brought back memories. We kids grew up in that place. We would help mom and dad clean up after plays and even back when they used to show reel to reel movies. We would come to many rehearsals and watch and have all the lines and songs down by heart.
One little confession- there was a time or two where I would sneak a treat from the consessions. I know, it was wrong.
I remember we would tell mom what kind of treat we would want for saturday morning cartoons. It used to be that cartoons were only on once a week and that was saturday morning. We would get up at 6 am to watch them and try and make our treat last as long as we could. I always picked a Big Hunk because they were long lasting. I think my mom knew it would by her some time to sleep. Anyways. I took a few shots of the kids on stage. Too cute. They are getting ready to have try outs for Footloose. Wish I could convince Savanna to try out, but she won't.

Made it

Brad made it to Florida. I am little jealous that it was 82' when he called me at 10 pm. His hotel is on the beach. He feels a little guilty that it is like a vacatiovn. He had to stop and get some shorts cause his were all in storage. He said it is pretty humid. He did a funny to his brother at the airport. Their seats weren't next to each other which was fine. Brad was the first one in so he said something like "this is my brother Dave, and he is mentally retarded. Do you think he could sit next to me?" He said the attendant stared at Dave for about 20 seconds and said "Yes, we have two seats right over here." Big dorks.
